Nothing says the holidays better than a nice glass of Egg Nog! This rich and creamy drink is the perfect treat for you and your guests and won’t leave you in a sugar coma. Enjoy!


  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • 1 dash nutmeg


Serves 6-8

In a large bowl, beat together eggs with sugar and salt, until it reaches a thick creamy consistency (10 minutes of vigorous stirring).

In a 2nd large bowl beat the whipping cream until stiff peaks (thickest point).

Add to that the vanilla and continue to stir.

Combine all the ingredients into one bowl, and slowly add the whole milk while stirring.

Chill the bowl for minimum an hour, and then serve with a dash of nutmeg.

Options: Alcohol, add an ounce or two of your favourite rum, or cognac, or my favourite, Frangelico at the same time as the whole milk. I love the Holidays!!
